So if you’ve never played minecraft, this is probably something you will just scroll right past. However, if you DO play minecraft, you may have stopped and like me, might have thought “that is one of those most insane things I have ever seen in Minecraft.”
I run a minecraft server for my friends and I, and I had heard about this thing that artist Martijn Holtkamp was working on. Today I took a stroll and found it. Holy crap, this one picture does it no justice. Not only is it massive, but is is immaculate. Not a single imperfection. It’s like an autistic Fortress of Solitude mixed with that room that Professor X uses Cerebro with in the X-Men movies.
The scary part is, I’m not even sure he is finished with it.
If you haven’t picked up Minecraft, you should. It will run on any computer, it’s only $13 and in my opinion, is the game of the year. If you do pick it up, keep in mind that there is a pretty big learning curve, reading up on crafting and such the Minecraftwiki helps a ton.
edit: Forgot to mention, this is a not cheat server, so any greystone was made in a furnace, and any pickaxes were built with farmed materials… truly insane.
