![I’m posting this not because I’m trying to knock prayer, because as Bill Maher mentioned, a lot of people, believers and non believers will resort to prayer at some point in their life.
It’s just upsetting to me when someone becomes ill and a doctor cures/fixes them and the response is “THANK GOD, OUR PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!” When it should be “Thank you doctor for spending many years of your life learning how to fix people, and then applying that knowledge to help cure (insert name here) high five!”
also, it’s kind of funny.
