IT’S A SIMPLE QUESTION!!

My Scarface poster drops today at the Mondo booth at Wondercon. 

I was really excited when they asked me to do this. I love the movie, in all it’s 80’s glory. It was the first time I ever saw the protagonist turn into an antagonist. It was quite jarring, but it made an impression on me.  

For the poster, I wanted to sum up Tony as best I could without guns/violence. He’s a crude man trying to be slick and sophisticated but he’s never able to pull it off. The brute inside of him always shines through.

Anyways, I can’t wait to see this hanging in a rappers house in a future episode of Cribs (that’s still on, right?) 

I guess I can talk about this now. My next solo show will be on April 26th at Mondo Gallery in Austin, TX. 

I’ve been busting my buns on this show, and I’m quite excited about it! It’s only my second solo show and I’m honored to be doing it at the Mondo Gallery. 

Hopefully you can make it out and we can share some prolonged and awkward eye contact from across the room.

Do you guys know Ken Garduno? He creates tons of awesome art, all the time. He’s the best dude, and his tumblr will make you feel lazy AND inspired. 

I’m really excited to finally be posting this. My piece for the Game of Thrones show which opens at the Mondo Gallery in Austin, TX on March 8th. 

Tyrion is easily my favorite character in the books, and while Peter Dinklage is much too handsome to be playing him, he still makes for a perfect Tyrion.

Hey Dudes, 

Apologies for the lack of art being produced. I’m actually working like crazy on a new gallery show which will open at the end of April at a location which has yet to be announced. I’m really excited about it, and I wish I could tell you more, but that will have to wait just a little longer. 

For now, here is a super pixelated collection of my progress so far. Maybe someone can pull some CSI type “ENCHANCE!” tricks on it and figure out what everything is.

They used a portrait of Leslie Knope that I created, on a prop in tonight’s Parks and Recreation. Big fan of the show, so I love seeing stuff like this.
